Pearl Jam announces new album and releases "Can't Deny Me" in its entirety

The track is the first single from the new album

Last weekend, Pearl Jam released their first new song in five years.

“Can't Deny Me” features politically charged lyrics that criticize the current political situation in the United States. Initially, it was only released to the official fan club, the Ten Club.

Now, the band has made the track available in its entirety and, to accompany the news, announced that they will release a new studio album, their first since Lightning Bolt (2013).

According to a press release, "Can't Deny Me" is the first single from Pearl Jam's eleventh album. No further information about the new album is available yet.

Written by Eddie Vedder and Mike McCready, the track was recorded in Seattle in February with producer Brendan O'Brien. The single's artwork was created by Jeff Ament and Kevin Shuss.

Pearl Jam will come to Brazil in March to perform at the Lollapalooza 2018 on Saturday the 24th. The band will also perform at the Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro on March 21st, with Royal Blood opening.

Eddie Vedder will also be performing solo shows in São Paulo on March 28th, 29th, and 30th. More information can be found by clicking here.
